Last week, our intrepid Oak Park Village Hall reporter, Marty Stempniak - also the new editor of Viewpoints - nodded off during a village board meeting. Been there. Done that. Seen others do the same. Never thought to film such a gotcha moment and put it on YouTube. That was the brainstorm of an Oak Leaves reporter, on the job the next day.

Here at the only paper to post a story on that meeting - also the paper that's been voted the best weekly in the state - their shenanigans don't impress us much.
